Elliott initially hesitated due to some “medical B.S.” he was dealing with, but Sheridan refused to take no for an answer.

“Taylor told me, ‘Buddy, I’m not going without you.’ That was the greatest gift,” Elliott said.

The veteran actor also shared how special it felt to reunite with Thornton:

“Sometimes, when you look someone in the eyes, it’s like you’re looking into them. That’s how it is with Billy.”
