Nicole Kidman took a trip down memory lane to one of her ex-husband Keith Urban’s major career milestones as she paid tribute to Dolly Parton on August 25. Following the “Jolene” singer’s death at 80, the Babygirl actress reunited with Urban in a throwback photo from a meaningful outing with their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 18, and Faith Margaret, 15.

“We will always love you, Dolly,” Kidman captioned an Instagram Stories photo, which showed her and Urban posing with the “9 to 5” singer and their two lookalike daughters on the red carpet. The image was taken from the 2023 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame event, where Urban was inducted alongside Kix Brooks, David Lee Murphy, Casey Beathard, and Rafe Van Hoy.

Urban and Parton had a decades-long friendship and professional relationship, and the “I Will Always Love You” singer presented Urban with the award at the event. In the photos, the Practical Magic actress could be seen standing next to Urban and Parton while wearing a floor-length black lace gown. Kidman, who styled her blonde-highlighted hair in long curls, layered her LBD with an oversized black blazer and added a pair of strappy black stiletto sandals.

Urban— who finalized his divorce from Kidman in January— coordinated with his former wife in a plunging black pinstripe dress shirt, a matching blazer jacket, and matching trousers. He pinned a white rose to his lapel and finished off his look with chunky black leather boots.

Parton, who also stood next to the couple’s eldest daughter, Sunday Rose, embraced her signature high-octane shine with a gold metallic lace-up corset and matching slacks that were laced up all the way up to her thighs. She accessorized with pointed-toe gold platform heels and a sheer gilded shrug clasped with a heart-shaped embellishment.
