Reba McEntire’s hit sitcom Happy’s Place is returning for a second season, and the cast already has one major name on their dream guest list — Kevin Costner.

The show follows Bobbie (played by Reba McEntire), who inherits her late father’s pub and unexpectedly discovers she has a younger half-sister, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo). Despite their rocky start, the two eventually form a heartfelt bond.

As the new season approaches, the cast shared that they’d love to see Kevin Costner appear in flashback scenes as Bobbie and Isabella’s late father, “Happy.”

“Belissa really wants Kevin Costner,” said cast member Pablo Castelblanco, adding that a flashback episode about Happy’s past would be a fun addition.

Melissa Peterman also expressed excitement about potential guest stars, saying she’d love scenes that dive deeper into the characters’ backstories.

Reba McEntire shared that filming the second season has been smooth and full of laughter. “We know our audience, we know each other better, and we’ve gelled,” she said, describing the cast as a close-knit family.

Fans can catch Happy’s Place Season 2 on NBC and Peacock starting November 7 to see if Kevin Costner — or any other surprise guests — will join the show.
