The 1% Club Viewers Are Calling This The Easiest £100,000 Question Ever — And Some Solved It In Just Two Seconds!

The 1% Club Viewers Are Calling This Question The ‘Easiest Ever’ After Spotting A Surprisingly Simple Answer

A question designed to challenge the sharpest minds on The 1% Club has left viewers divided, with some convinced it was so straightforward that it barely deserved a place in the ITV quiz show’s toughest round.

Hosted by Lee Mack, the programme sees 100 contestants compete through a series of increasingly difficult questions, all hoping to reach the final stages and win the £100,000 jackpot. The ultimate challenge is answering a question that only one per cent of the country is expected to get right.

But one particular puzzle has prompted viewers to question just how difficult the show’s supposedly toughest questions really are.

Can You Solve The 1% Club’s Controversial Question?

As usual, Lee Mack presented the challenge to the contestants, giving them just 30 seconds to work out the answer.

He asked: “In the following sequence, what do the letters V and C stand for? VCCCVCCCVCCCCCVCCCCCVCCCCC.”

The sequence might look confusing at first glance, but contestants had half a minute to figure out what the letters represented. Viewers were also invited to test themselves before the answer was revealed.

So, did you manage to solve it within the time limit?

The contestants get 30 seconds to answer.

The correct answer was vowel and consonant.

While some contestants worked it out successfully, others struggled to see the pattern. Online reactions were even more divided, with several viewers declaring that the question was far too easy to belong in the show’s most difficult round.

One viewer wrote: “That was the 1% question? Tooooooo easy!!!!”

Another admitted that getting the answer right had not stopped them from doubting themselves, saying: “I got it, then spent the remaining 28 seconds second guessing myself because there’s no way the 1% question was that simple.”

A third viewer was equally confident, commenting: “I literally got it in less than a second.”

Not Everyone Found It So Obvious

Despite the confidence of those who solved the puzzle almost immediately, other viewers offered some rather different interpretations of the mysterious sequence.

One person confessed: “I confidently said 1’s and 0’s like binary code.”

Another revealed that their mind had gone in a completely different direction, writing: “I answered Copy copy copy paste cause thats how I keyboard shortcut cause of my trust issues.”

Someone else took an equally amusing approach, commenting: “Bro I was sitting here like ‘very cool cool cool, very cool cool cool cool cool’.”

The contrasting reactions highlighted how a question that seemed almost effortless to some could send others down entirely different lines of thought.

Whether the puzzle genuinely deserved its place among the show’s toughest challenges remains open to debate, but the responses suggest that not everyone approaches these questions in the same way.

Kevin was loving it.

Lee Mack Previously Called Out A Contestant Who Had Won £6 Million

The discussion comes after another memorable moment on The 1% Club earlier in the year, when Lee Mack was left astonished by a contestant who revealed that he had already won millions of pounds in the National Lottery.

During the June 3 episode, Lee was speaking to a contestant named Kevin, whose time in the competition had come to an end after he failed to answer the 90 per cent question correctly.

“You’ve been unlucky tonight, are you usually unlucky?” the host asked.

“I’ve been very lucky in the past,” Kevin replied.

Puzzled by the comment, Lee followed up with a simple question: “In what respect?”

Kevin’s answer caught the room off guard.

“I’ve won the lottery,” he revealed, claiming to have won an enormous £6 million through the National Lottery.

He then clarified the amount with a cheeky remark: “£6.1 million to be precise.”

The revelation prompted cheers from the audience, although Lee appeared considerably less impressed by the prospect of a millionaire competing for the show’s £100,000 prize.

“£6 million quid?! And you want another £100 grand? You greedy sod!” he joked.

Kevin explained that he had entered the competition for the challenge rather than simply for the money, saying: “I wanted to come on here for the challenge but sadly not done very well.”

His admission gave viewers another memorable exchange between the host and a contestant, adding to the show’s catalogue of entertaining moments.

From a supposedly easy puzzle that sparked debate online to a contestant who had already struck lottery gold, The 1% Club continues to produce moments that give viewers plenty to talk about.
