If they want The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 to succeed, they need to drop the cases of the week temporarily. They can’t just ignore Lorna having a case load as a lawyer since she just got permission from Mickey to pick her own cases. Additionally, she needs to keep the business going while Mickey is in jail and out on bail.

However, The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 needs to keep the onscreen time focused primarily on Mickey’s case. The upcoming season of the Netflix show will feature Mickey as both a lawyer and a defendant. He’s The Lincoln Lawyer’s main character, and he’s going through one of the most emotional moments of the show.

It would detract from Mickey’s character arc if he had to fight for screen time constantly. Plus, Mickey’s situation will inevitably take a toll on the other characters too, which deserves time as well. As such, they really need to pick and choose when to include a case of the week in The Lincoln Lawyer.
