During their Symphony of Dance tour in December 2023, Hayley suddenly became disoriented after a performance and was rushed to hospital.

Derek revealed she had suffered a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel, requiring emergency craniectomy to remove part of her skull and save her life.
