He’s the wholesome croc-wrangling lad we’ve watched grow up – but last night, Robert Irwin proved he’s ALL man!

The 21-year-old son of the legendary Steve ‘Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin sent temperatures soaring – and his famous family into shock – when he tore off his shirt mid-performance in a sizzling salsa on America’s Dancing With The Stars.

And in a hilarious confession, the heart-throb has now revealed he DID try to warn mum Terri and big sister Bindi ahead of the raunchy routine… but clearly downplayed just how “spicy” it was going to get!

“I said to them, ‘This one’s a little bit edgy,’” Robert admitted with a grin on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast. “They were like, ‘Oh, that’s great. Go for it.’ But then afterwards, they were like, ‘Whoa.’ Surprise!”

Fans are in meltdown, with one tweeting: “Robert Irwin shirtless salsa? I need a cold shower!” while another gushed: “From feeding giraffes at Australia Zoo to THIS – our boy is GROWN!”

The jaw-dropping moment came during TikTok Night on September 30, when Robert and pro partner Witney Carson sizzled to Tommy Richman’s viral hit Million Dollar Baby.

Halfway through the high-energy salsa – packed with flips, body rolls and cheeky winks – Robert dramatically ripped open his shirt, revealing his ripped torso to a screaming studio audience.

Judges were left speechless. One quipped: “Robert Irwin is all grown up – wow, you’re making me feel like a grandmother! Put your shirt back on!”

Another raved about his “million-dollar body”, while the crowd erupted in cheers.

Despite a slightly stiff technique earning them 22 points, the clip went mega-viral overnight, racking up millions of views and turning the conservationist into an overnight sex symbol.

But back home in Australia, the Irwin women were picking their jaws up off the floor.

Terri, 61, and Bindi, 27 – who famously won the US DWTS Mirrorball exactly a decade earlier – had no idea their little Robert was about to unleash such a steamy side.

“He didn’t show us beforehand,” Robert laughed. “I was like, ‘I can’t show my fam!’ So I just went for it.”

And go for it he did – embracing the chance to step out of his khaki-clad wildlife warrior image and show the world a bolder, sexier Robert.

“You know what? Life is short,” he shrugged. “You gotta just embrace it. There’s nothing wrong with that. It was fun.”

Robert’s transformation on Season 34 has been nothing short of sensational.

“No pain, no gain,” he shrugged, comparing it to wrestling crocs. “I’ll heal up, mate – I’m used to it.”

Yet through emotional tributes to his late dad Steve, heartfelt dedications to mum Terri (including a tear-jerking contemporary where he danced WITH her on stage), and that now-infamous shirtless salsa, Robert has won America’s hearts.
