On September 7, 1996, after attending a Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand, Tupac rode as a passenger in a BMW driven by Death Row CEO Suge Knight. At a stoplight on the Las Vegas Strip, a white Cadillac pulled alongside, and gunfire erupted. Tupac was hit four times—twice in the chest, once in the arm, and once in the thigh.
