Jason Aldean’s Upcoming Album Songs About Us Set for April Release
Country superstar Jason Aldean has announced his brand-new album, Songs About Us, arriving this April.
In his own words, the project captures “the highs, the lows, and everything in between.” The 20-track collection will feature Aldean’s signature blend of heartfelt ballads and high-energy anthems — including “Hard To Love You,” “Lovin’ Me Too Long,” and the deeply emotional “Help You Remember.”
One of the most special surprises? Jason and his wife Brittany Aldean will release their first-ever duet together on this album.
“It means the world when one of my songs helps someone through a hard time—or celebrates their best moments,” Jason shared. “Every track started with a real story or feeling, and together we turned those experiences into music. In the end, I realized this album is about all of us. These are songs about us.”
“Help You Remember” Shines a Light on Dementia
Among the album’s most touching songs is “Help You Remember,” inspired by Jason and Brittany’s personal experience with her father’s battle against dementia.
The song captures the emotional weight of watching a loved one slip away while still holding on to every memory. Jason’s heartfelt lyrics describe missing someone who’s physically present but mentally fading — a tender reflection of love, loss, and perseverance.
Brittany shared the official video alongside a heartfelt message:
“Our journey with dementia ❤️🩹 The heartache that diseases like this bring to a family is something we know all too well. We hope this song brings comfort to anyone going through something similar 🙏🏼.”
The video montage traces Brittany’s life with her father — from childhood moments filled with laughter to precious scenes from recent years — making the song even more personal and powerful.
The chorus reads:
The heart knows what’s hiding / Even when the mind can’t find it / Even if you don’t, I still ain’t gonna stop tryin’, yeah / To help you remember / What I’ll never forget.
Calling dementia “the long goodbye,” Brittany opened up about the heartbreak of seeing her father fade and encouraged others facing the same journey to seek help, share their stories, and lean on love and support.
