Robert Irwin and Witney Carson Recreate Iconic ‘DWTS’ Ballroom Dance in Unexpected Setting—And Fans Go Wild

Witney Carson summed up the latest Instagram share from herself and Robert Irwin perfectly, while sharing a new video of the Dancing With the Stars partners taking their moves on the road.
Their latest dance floor is the Australia Zoo, where Irwin works as a conservationist. Carson and her family visited the zoo, enjoying some quality time with her DWTS partner and a sweet hug that she admitted she traveled across the world to enjoy.
But it wasn’t Irwin’s embrace that Carson was after. Instead, a funny video of her arrival in Australia showed her swerving past Irwin’s outstretched arms, giving him a high-five instead, before slipping into the embrace of the cutest koala.
That was just the beginning of the trip, and the real treat for Dancing With the Stars fans came next in a video that started with Irwin asking Carson, “Do you ever miss it?”
“A little bit?” he further pressed, as she confirmed, shaking her head and repeating, “A little bit.”
“So we do the thing?” Irwin asked.
Then the DWTS announcer exclaims, “Dancing the jive with his partner, Witney Carson, it’s Robert Irwin,” as he crouches on the hood of a Toyota SUV and stretches. As the music starts, Irwin explodes off the top of the vehicle and begins his dance, joining Carson—dressed in a T-shirt and jeans—as they perfectly recreate their Season 34 dance to “Born To Be Wild.”
