🏌️‍♀️ From Family Fairways to the Professional Stage

Known for his love of golf, President Donald Trump has clearly passed down both his passion and his talent to the next generation.

On Tuesday, October 28, Kai Trump, 18, daughter of Donald Trump Jr., announced that she will compete as a sponsor’s invite at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, taking place November 10–16, 2025.

Currently a high school senior in Palm Beach, Florida, Kai has already committed to attending the University of Miami in the fall of 2026, where she will join the school’s NCAA Division I women’s golf team.

“It’s been a dream of mine to compete at the professional level,” Kai said in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter). “I’d like to thank Pelican Golf Club for the invitation. I’m looking forward to teeing it up and competing with the best players in the world at one of the most premier venues on tour.”

💞 A Touching Bond on the Golf Course with President Trump

Kai first captured national attention in 2024, when she delivered heartfelt remarks at the Republican National Convention, just one week after her grandfather survived an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

Since then, she has built a growing online following, posting behind-the-scenes videos of life around the 47th President on her YouTube channel.

On October 11, Kai uploaded one of her most personal videos yet — a full round of golf with her grandfather.

“This is my favorite video I’ve filmed so far, and it means a lot to me,” Kai wrote in the caption. “It really shows the bond we have — especially on the golf course.”

The one-hour video, edited by Kai herself, opens with President Trump smiling at the camera:

“Hello, everybody. We’re gonna have a little fun today. We have Kai, who’s done terrifically at golf.”

Notably, flags at Trump National Golf Club Washington D.C. are seen flying at half-staff, suggesting the round took place shortly after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA.
