The legend of Tupac Shakur ended in 1996 but a new twist has surfaced that’s reigniting one of hip-hop’s darkest mysteries. Former gang leader Keefe D reportedly confessed chilling details about Tupac’s murder while unaware he was being secretly recorded even describing conversations with Tupac’s body at the funeral.

Once a shadowy figure, Keefe D (Dwayne Davis) has traced his own road to an indictment: hiring informants, confessing freely, and leaving behind an audio breadcrumb trail that may have sealed his fate.

He admitted being in the white Cadillac from which the fatal shots were fired, pointing the gun at his own nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, and even accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs of offering a $1 million bounty on Tupac’s life — claims Diddy continues to vehemently deny.

But here’s what’s chilling: Keefe D allegedly wasn’t aware the entire time that his words were being recorded until now.

Fast forward to 2023, when the Las Vegas Police finally arrested him, charging him with murder, conspiracy, and use of a deadly weapon. His own words  in interviews, books, and video appearances have become the building blocks of the prosecution’s case.

Now 61 and facing life behind bars, Keefe D claims he lied for money and fame but many believe that his stories aligned too perfectly with events to be entirely fabricated.
