Mike Vrabel is focusing on the future.
During a press conference on Wednesday, May 27, the New England Patriots head coach was asked if he anticipated âhaving to miss football activities again for the rest of the spring.â The question referred to Vrabelâs absence during Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft, where he went to have a counseling session with his wife, Jen, following the Dianna Russini scandal. Vrabel and the former NFL insider made headlines in April after photos of them were published by Page Six of them holding hands at an Arizona luxury resort.  They also claimed that they were a part of two separate groups of friends when the photos went viral, as they are married to other people. However, three other eyewitnesses told Page Six that they did not see anyone else with them.
Vrabel answered the reporterâs question, noting that if he were to miss any more time this season, he is unsure at the moment.
âI can only tell you that Iâm going to be there today,â Vrabel told reporters per Us Weekly. âI canât tell you anything other than Iâm going to be out there today in full force. Who knows whatâs going to come up? Iâm not even, you know, anything could happen.â

When asked how he has been able to handle the outside noise when it came to the Russini scandal, he shared what his priorities are now.
âWe all have to deal with things outside of here,â he said. âMy focus and obviously the excitement that I have for coaching is what is most important right now.â
Vrabelâs message to his priorities now follow him praising his wife and children recently, âMy family is great. I love Jen. I love the boys,â according to a report per MassLiveâs Mark Daniels. He also shared that his work and life balance in the offseason is âreally good.â
