The newly released eerie thriller Unchosen, which is one of many thrillers on Netflix, delves into the disturbing world of Rosie, a wife and mother trapped within a fictional Christian sect.
The Netflix miniseries follows Rosie as she begins questioning her existence within the controlling cult following an encounter with Sam, an escaped prisoner.
As doubts emerge about whom she can truly rely upon, viewers learn more about Rosie’s domestic situation when sinister secrets surface about those she believed she knew.

Adam – Asa Butterfield
Adam serves as Rosie’s husband in the programme and is portrayed by Asa Butterfield, a 29 year old English actor who rose to prominence in The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.
He subsequently fronted Netflix’s popular series Sex Education, and appeared in the science-fiction film Ender’s Game. He also harbours a keen interest in creating and producing music.

Rosie – Molly Windsor
Rosie is a dedicated wife and mother caught between two worlds, portrayed by Molly Windsor, a 28 year old actress from Nottingham.
Her breakout performance came in the Channel 4 film The Unloved, though she’s most recognised for her part in the BBC miniseries Three Girls, which earned her the 2018 BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress.
Sam is a fugitive who tempts Rosie with promises
Sam – Fra Fee
Sam is a fugitive who tempts Rosie with promises of an improved existence, portrayed by Fra Fee, a 38 year old Northern Irish actor and singer.
His most notable credits include portraying Courfeyrac in the 2012 film version of Les Misérables, and appearing as Kazi in the Disney+ Marvel Cinematic Universe series Hawkeye.
Mr Phillips is the leader of the cult
Mr Phillips – Christopher Eccleston
Mr Phillips serves as the cult’s leader, concealing numerous sinister secrets, brought to life by Christopher Eccleston.
The 62 year old English actor achieved fame as the ninth incarnation of the Doctor in Doctor Who.
The Salford star subsequently featured in Let Him Have It, Our Friends in the North and Dodger.

Mrs Phillips – Siobhan Finneran
Mrs Phillips is the cult leader’s spouse, portrayed by Siobhan Finneran, a 59 year old actress from Oldham.
Her most recognised performances include Coronation Street, Benidorm and her portrayal of recovering heroin addict Clare in Happy Valley.
Alexa Davies, a Welsh actress, plays Hannah
Hannah – Alexa Davies
Hannah represents one of Rosie’s companions in the programme, wed to Adam’s brother Isaac, played by Alexa Davies, a Welsh actress renowned for her role as Aretha in Raised by Wolves.
Viewers may also recall her as the younger Rosie in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
Grace – Olivia Pickering
Grace is the hard-of-hearing daughter of Rosie and Adam, portrayed by child actress Olivia Pickering.
