During the attack, the alligator used a âdeath rollâ maneuver.
Allison desperately tried to rescue his girlfriend, but she succumbed to her injuries.
âIâm just still in disbelief of what took place. We had so many things planned out and memories to be made,â Allison wrote in an emotional Facebook post Wednesday, which contained an array of photos of them together.
Clark died while in transit to the hospital as a result of âmultiple blunt force injuries of the upper extremities,â according to the medical examinerâs report.
When first responders arrived Clarkâs pulse was âthready,â according to the report.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission has since captured and euthanized two alligators, measuring 13 feet and 12.5 feet, as part of their investigation.
