Concert film details have been confirmed for Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath‘s recent Back to the Beginning farewell concert at Villa Park in Birmingham.

The show took place on July 5th and sold out almost instantly, with more than 40,000 fans snapping up tickets to make the pilgrimage to the hometown of Sabbath to witness the grand farewell. Back to the Beginning was also live-streamed for £24.99, and at one point, it was simultaneously viewed by 5.8 fans, raising almost $200 million for charity in the process.

Due to his ongoing health problems amid his Parkinson’s disease struggle, Osbourne performed both of his sets from a throne on the Villa Park stage. Notably, Cure Parkinson’s were one of the three charities to receive funding from the huge show. Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice also benefited financially from the concert.

Other acts who performed at Back to the Beginning include Blink-182’s Travis Barker, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Yungblud, Jack Black, Alice In Chains, Billy Corgan, Tool, Slayer, and many more. Every artist on the bill also waived their fee to help raise vital funds for charities close to the heart of Black Sabbath.

Now, it’s been confirmed that Back to the Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow will arrive in cinemas next year as a 100-minute concert film.

The press release for the concert film, which is currently in production at Mercury Studios, reads:” Presented as a love letter to Ozzy and the pioneering sound of Black Sabbath, the theatrical release will be a distilled version of the epic all-day event held at Villa Park.”

It continues: “Featuring thunderous performances of ‘War Pigs,’ ‘Iron Man,’ ‘Children of the Grave’ and a show-stopping ‘Paranoid,’ the film promises a deeply personal and electrifying farewell from the godfather of heavy metal with exclusive behind-the-scenes access and interviews from this iconic live performance.”

Following the cinematic release of Back to the Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow in early 2026, it will be available to watch digitally.
